SFPS Schools graduated this last week and it was a huge success! Santa Fe High, Capital, DSA, ECO, and Mandela International Baccalaureate School celebrated their accomplishments with an incredible ceremony and wonderful celebration! We congratulate our graduates and wish them success and good fortune in their next steps in life!

The Santa Fe Public Library is excited to invite toddlers, children, and youth up to 17 years of age to participate in “All Together Now,” their 2023 Summer Reading Program! Registration opens on Thursday, May 25, and the program will run through June and July.
Children may read independently or be read to by adults and older children. Reading library books, personal books, e-books, and listening to audiobooks all count toward earning prizes. Reading minutes can be tracked by hand or via the Library’s Beanstack portal, which allows participants to log minutes and earn digital badges throughout the program.
The Library will hold a variety of programs and events related to Summer Reading over the upcoming months. Visit the Library’s website or any Library location to learn more and sign up when registration opens!

Multiple school districts throughout the state have received social media threats against schools. SFPS and SFPD are taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety at our schools. The City of Santa Fe and SFPD are working directly with the FBI on the threat, which appears to be a hoax. There is no immediate threat towards any SFPS school.

SFPS and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival will be holding events for recitals and performance concerts featuring some of SFPS' Bands, Orchestras, Choirs, and other instruments this Spring! It's the 151st Anniversary of Arbor Day, and SFPS students will be at Genoveva Chavez Community Center Park on Friday, April 28th, 2023 from 11AM - 1PM to help plant trees and honor this day that helps the environment, community, and beauty of Santa Fe! The SFPS 2nd Annual Golf Tournament was a tremendous and fun success! We want to thank our sponsors, volunteers, organizers, golf pro, special guests and players for such a wonderful day! With a long ball/trick shot golf pro, food, raffles, prizes and amazing weather, it was the perfect day for golfing!
